THE SOUTHBANK BAR
The Southbank Bar is famous the world over for it's warm hospitality, comprehensive live sports coverage and fantastic programme of live music events. Situated just off Nottingham's Trent Bridge it is located within easy reach of the city centre and a few minutes walk from the homes of Nottingham Forest FC, Notts County FC, Nottingham Rugby Club and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.
The Southbank is an ideal place to spend a night out, handy for some food and drink on the way to a match and for breakfast, lunch and light bites. Serving all the usual favourites the Southbank also offers specialist ales, a large wine list and special offers for those counting the pennies. NEWLY REFURBISHED
An extensive refurbishment in 2007 saw The Southbank Bar leap ahead of other venues and set a new standard for entertainment. Now showing full HD sports action on brand new top of the range Plasma screens for better clarity and a state of the art specially designed 'stadium surround sound' it is by far the best venue in the region for watching sports action or listening to our live entertainment.
FREE LIVE MUSIC
The Southbank has more live music than almost any other bar in Nottingham, all of the city’s most popular acts perform and a late license means that the party goes on into the early hours. Whether it’s the laid back groovy “dad jazz” sound of The Wise Guys or the full on indie rock of Performance and The Establishment, all tastes are catered for. There are exclusive sets from Nottingham’s finest including the legendary Roy De’ Wired, the beautiful acoustic warbling of The Herb Birds, the fabulous Fab 4 plus the number one soul brothers Urban Intro and Sticky Morales.
