This smooth and astonishingly complex beer has a distinctive malty base, complemented by the rich balance of well developed flavours from the target, challenger and northdown varieties in the brew. At 4.1% Pride is a ideal session ale. THERE IS CURRENTLY A PROMOTION RUNNING ON LONDON PRIDE TO CELEBRATE THE SIX NATIONS RUGBY..... First brewed by Nottingham Brewery in the 1800's as a refreshing quaffing ale for the thirsty factory workers in the city. Slightly paler than traditional bitter beers of the time it was the forerunner of the India Pale Ale for which the brewery was to become famous and transported thousands and thousands of gallons to the troops of the British Empire all around the globe. %3.8 abv

Traditionally Crafted Legendary Ruby Beer

 

Hobgoblin is strong in roasted malt with a moderate hoppy bitterness and slight fruity character that lasts through to the end.

The ruby red coloured Hobgoblin is full-bodied and has a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity character.
 
ABV: 5.2% in bottle and can, 4.5% in cask

Hops: Fuggles and Styrians
Malts: Pale, Crystal and Chocolate
