REVIEWS
Here's a selection of some reviews about us by customers and the press about The Southbank Bar:
"You get everything right!" -review by Julie Lynaghan
"this country sucks! but thankfully we have the southbank to chill out have a beer watch the footy and listen to some quality tunes!!" -review by Jody Dawson
"great cricket team, great music, great bar" -review by Joe Cyster
"Richie Muir never fails to please although in all these years I've only ever heard him play my favourite track once. It was years ago so I don't know if he still has it in his repetoire. It was called "You know, I know". Maybe if we all pressure him or sign a petition he'll play it one of these days! There's always a good singer-audience feel at his gigs. I feel part of the performance. Add to that he always plays at least one of the songs I ask him for (except "You know I know"). All in all I'd definitely recommend it as a good night out, especially if you've never been to one of his gigs." -review by Christopher G
"I recently organised a leaving do at The Southbank because the music is always good and always had good lunchtimes there. The management and staff were really helpful and reserved seating for us so we could enjoy the live music and the food was great. I'd like to thank everyone for a memorable night and will miss you all." -review by Paula Bacon
"I've been goingto the southbank since it first opened way back when, and I would like to thank Russ, Tom and Owen for always making me feel welcome and offering me a great service. I would also like to thank Steve Dave and Les, who are great host's. And wish them all the best for the future! Thanks again Simon Baird." -review by simon b
"Thought the Herb Birds were brillient. Really unique and talented duo. If you don't get the opportunity to go out often then make time to see them - its well worth it!" -review by Jane D
